We are advertising a postdoctoral position in observational spectroscopy in the asteroseismology group at the Institute of Astronomy of the University of Vienna. More information on the research of the group can be found at http://www.univie.ac.at/tops

The successful applicant is expected to fully participate in the development and activities of an active spectroscopy team (including students) with emphasis on mode identification in short-period pulsating variables. Experience in spectrocopic reductions and analysis is essential.

The position will be for a period of 18 months, while an additional year might be possible. The starting time is flexible. The salary will be at the official postdoc rate(approx. € 41200 per annum). Knowledge of the German language is not required.
