Danish AsteroSeismology Centre, Aarhus - Denmark Given the initial model comparisons it is quite clear that we need a better detailed understanding of the origins of the various differences that were found. This comparison will require looking at many aspects of the models as they evolve, rather than just at the target models defined for the comparison. Also, we need to develop a more detailed comparison of the physics used in the calculation and of numerical aspects. The workshop, taking place in Aarhus, during the period 24-28 October, aims at focussing these efforts. It will emphasize collaborative work rather than presentations. The main goal is to carry out model computations and comparisons during the workshop, for cases that have been identified beforehand as particularly interesting. THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT AND FINAL PROGRAMME
PhD Conference on Astrophysics of Variable Stars DATE: September 5 - 10, 2005 PLACE: Janus Pannonius University of Pécs, Pécs, Hungary Dear participants, the final participants list, the programme and the list of accepted posters for the PhD school are now available. Participants are allowed to bring along with them unregistered posters as well, besides the accepted ones. The editors of the Proceedings will decide during the meeting whether these contributions merit publication or not, keeping in mind the available page number agreed with the publishers. Also, in the case of large overlap between the contents of your talk and poster, you will be asked by the chief editor (Chris Sterken) to merge your two papers into one. You will receive this feedback during the meeting. As you will notice in the programme, the Scientific Organising Committee will award a prize for the best student talk as well as the best poster. We look forward to see you all in Pécs! Conny Aerts, on behalf of the SOC.
